I had a very awesome weekend. Traveled to Ferozepur in Punjab for a dear friend’s baby girl’s first B’day. Had a lot of fun. I even did some shooting… tsk tsk… guess who got all 5/5 on target??? (Proud!!) We even visited the Hussainiwala Border and I must say, I loved this experience more than the Wagah Border. A girl from Pakistan waved Hi at me. I smiled back. Sometimes I wonder, wouldn’t it have been awesome if both the countries move away from all the hatred that has been created for political benefit, and embrace the idea of living in peace and harmony? Ah… one could only wish.
It was much colder than Delhi out there. Winters really makes my skin go thirsty. I prefer using body butters than flimsy lotions, when it comes to winters. Body butters are thicker and keeps me moisturized longer. The Body shop Body butter retains its fragrance throughout the day. Now that is the real deal. So, I thought why not do a quick review on my life saver Body Butter here. Currently I keep alternating between two flavours – Moringa & Shea Butter. Do you guys also open a tub before finishing one?
Product Name: The Body Shop Body Butter 200ml/ 6.7 Oz/192 g tub made of sturdy plastic.
Description: The cream comes very thick and go in circles taking out the slightest to keep me moisturized. The cream is very thick and stays on your body the whole day. Yet not too greasy that you feel uncomfortable.
- Community Trade cocoa butter, an excellent moisturizer that melts at body temperature, is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants.
- Community Trade shea butter from Ghana moisturizes and softens the skin.
- Community Trade organic soy oil is very rich in essential fatty acids that help to repair skin’s moisture barrier, so skin is smooth and supple.
This super-rich and creamy Body Butter is a feast for the skin. It melts straight in to leave skin feeling soft and smooth. It contains Community Fair Trade shea butter and has a delicious nutty scent.
Directions: I usually put on a generous amount just after my shower. I’ve seen it works wonders when I take a hot shower with my homemade body scrub (up on Blog soon) and layer on at night before sleep. It relaxes me for a good sleep, and I wake up with dreamy smooth skin. It lasted me very long. Maybe cuz I did not really layer up much on peak summers. Still, a little goes a long way with this lovely tub.
I don’t have a dry skin, still who can resist the pampering that Body Butters offer. so I have stocked up more flavors – Strawberry & Moringa (My favo) from The Body Shop.
Verdict: 4/5. A Little too thick. so can be used only in winters. In summers I prefer another Body Butter from Soap & glory. (Review soon). the smell is divine and stays on for hours…
Repurchase- Hell yes!! I just did it, Over & Over again.
See ya soon
